Paul, who is from Middlesbrough, started his career in the Middlesbrough Goalkeeping department, specifically with the academy, he also worked at this time with Tunisia U16 and 14 'keepers. Clements then moved on to Wolves Academy where he was Head of goalkeeping in 2012.
In 2017, Paul was signed to become Towns Head of Goalkeeping. He is in charge of training the keepers along with bringing through academy keepers into the first team squad and also recruitment.
