Carlos came through the youth ranks at Valencia and was a Goalkeeper. At the age of 23 he retired from football to pursue a career in coaching for which he had a passion for.
Carlos joined Huddersfield after a stint as Leeds U23 and technical coach in the first team under Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds. He accepted the role as head coach on the 23rd July 2020 with the length of the deal not being disclosed.
