Joining Town from Forest Green Rovers in 2019 after his contract expired although there was a transfer fee involved believed to be around £250,000 to avoid going to a tribunal. He signed on a three year deal.
He made his town debut in the EFL cup defeat to Lincoln City. But after un-successful first half season, Brown was loaned out for the remainder of the 19/20 season to Peterborough United. His loan was extended for the 20/21 season.
