Rarmani Edmonds-Green

Position: Centre Back, Right Back

Preferred Foot: Right

Shirt Number: 35

Date of Birth: 14 January 1999

Nationality: England

Joining Town from the Nike Academy based in London in January 2016. His latest deal runs until the end of 2022 although the club have an option for an extra year.
Rarmani had loan spells at Brighouse and Bromley before being recalled in November 2019. He made his first team debut at Right Back playing the full 90 against Charlton Athletic, replacing the unwell Demeaco Duhaney. Edmonds-Green made one more first team appearance as a late second half substitute against Blackburn Rovers. He then moved out on loan to Swindon Town and was crucial in helping them win promotion to league 1 before their season was curtailed.
Rarmani's breakthrough came in the 2020/21 season as he made 24 appearances in the Championship scoring 2 goals. He can play as a right sided centre back in a back two or three and also as a right back. Rarmani is great at bringing the ball out of defence and playing out from the back, which is desirable in a lot of modern day centre backs. At 5ft9 he is on the short side for a centre half, but he still is adequate in the air. He won 60% of his aerial duals in 2020/21, attempting 3 per game.
He scored his first Town goal against Barnsley in December 2020 and scored a last minute equaliser against Reading on the final day of the 2020/21 season.
