Joining Town for a club record fee of £18 million from AS Monaco in June 2018 after an initial successful loan spell in the latter part of the 2017/18 season in which Town stayed up, Terence signed a 4 year deal. While there was no clause in the loan to allow Terence to sign permanently, Town went back in for him at the end of the season and signed him.
After managing 1 sub appearance at the 2014 World Cup after a brilliant debut season with Feyenoord in the Eredivisie. Kongolo played four seasons with the Rotterdam outfit aswell as playing 2 seasons in the Europa League with them. Terence then moved to AS Monaco for £13.5 Million but things didn't go too well and only played half a season before moving to Town. He came in with Champions League Pedigree and in 13 appearances for Town in the back end of 2018 season he helped the team score 12 points in their fight for survival. His first goal for the club came in a 2-1 defeat on the south coast to Bournemouth. To get the best out of Terence, you must play 3 at the back and play him in his favoured position as a left sided centre back in a back three.
Terence left Town on the summer deadline day in 2020, joining Fulham for an initial £4 million, a huge loss on what Town initially paid for him.
