Danny signed for Town on the 2nd of January 2021, after his contract from Bohemians expired. Due to his age, Town agreed a small compensation fee.
Grant signed an initial deal which runs until the end of the 2023 season. He has played three times for the Ireland u21s and won the Irish young player of the season for the 2020 season, where he scored 7 goals in 17 games.
