Joining Town in September 2015 and has played all the way through the academy sides up to the senior team. Ben has two loan stint at Stockport County during the 19/20 season. His current contract run to the end of the 2021/22 season.
After a positive pre-season, Jackson made his Town debut and played the full 90 minutes against Rochdale in the Carabao Cup - a game which Town lost 1-0. Ben then started the season opener against Norwich but was subbed in the 57th minute. Jackson went on to make 1 more appearance from the bench, before he moved on loan to Bolton in January. At Bolton, Ben made 5 appearances as Bolton won promotion from League 2. He scored the winner against fellow promotion-chasing Morcombe which all but seized promotion for Wanderers.
