During his first season as a Town scholar, Kian netted 32 goals in 47 games for the U17, U19 and the EDT. This saw him being named 'Scholar of the Year' in 2018/19. Kian got his first taste of First Team football when he came on as a second-half substitute against Leeds United at the age of just 17! Kian's current contract expires at the end of 2020/21. He was the second-youngest player to play in the Sky Bet Championship in 2019/20 only behind teenage wonderkid Jude Bellingham. Harratt then joined National League promotion hopefuls Harrogate Town on loan for the rest of the season in January 2019, which saw the Yorkshire club earning promotion to the Football League at Wembley. At the end of the 2019/20 season, Harratt was named academy player of the season - an award won by Phllip Billing and Lewis O'Brien in the past.
